Questions about the services we provide
Your carpet will be safe to walk on in about 3 to 4 hours.
The frequency of cleaning will vary from one household to another, depending upon the number of occupants and the level of usage. At a minimum we would suggest, you should clean once a year.
This can vary depending upon the amount of soil, how much furniture needs to be moved, specialty spotting procedures, and setup time.
Quite simply, your carpet acts like a sink. It collects and filters all contaminants.
When a protective coating is applied to the carpet fibers, it puts a protective barrier around each fibre. This protective barrier resists moisture. When you do have a spill, it gives you a window of time to get it cleaned up.
The other important way that this product helps you is in the area of wear. Having this protective coating on your carpet helps reduce the wear and abrasion caused by sand in the carpet. This protects the carpet from excessive matting, and in turn will cause your carpet to perform better and look newer for much longer.
Accidents do happen, it could be wine, blood, juice, coffee or some paint from a little one that has found its way onto your carpet. You need to act quickly and with care.
- You should not scrub away at the stain with force as this may cause discoloration.
- Gently dab and clean away at the affected area with a cloth, starting at the edges.
- With an example of mud, then you should wait until it drys and then remove it.
You could try a damp window squeege and move it from side to side to pick up the pet hair.
We will be happy to relocate the majority of large pieces of furniture, such as couches, mattresses, and dining tables, but we do ask clients to move chairs, toys, speakers, and other electrical appliances first before cleaning (TVs and routers can typically stay where they are).
The vast majority of carpets will be dry in 3-4 hours (sometimes less!), depending on a number of variables, including pile length, fibre, construction, and ambient temperature. When appropriate, we will employ turbo airmovers to quicken the drying process.
